FREEDOM OF CHOICE BILL

Motorbike Riders,

There is a super short notice of a twenty-one-and-up Freedom of choice Bill that will be heard in the Senate Transportation Committee on Wednesday 11, March 2026 at 09:30am inside Senate Hearing Room 1 on the first floor. Any member of the public can attend this hearing. We must contact members of the Senate Transportation Committee NOW!

I prioritized who we must contact and ask to support this Bill, but please call and/or send an email message to each member and ask them to support this Bill. We must have five (05) votes to pass it out of committee. The Bill number is SB2648 and it is a caption Bill. It will be amended to make it a motorbike helmet use modification Bill and then a vote will be taken.

When you make contact, just state: “Please support Senator Roberts’ SB2648 to increase the number of days to appeal a CDL suspension”.
I know this may not make sense, but this is a caption Bill that will be completely re-written by an amendment inside that committee hearing.
