Becky lead the pledge
We have two special guests Alexa and her mother visiting us.
Jeff opened the meeting by talking about things we want to participate in
Memory ride report from Mark Davis coordinated the t-shirts will be Bette Stewart. Lack the logistics for end of the ride. Tommy and I rode the ride that took about 2 hours. Last stop will be at the station camp market to get drinks and what not.
528 names from previous rides will be in t shirts. There will be two stops on the ride.
Bette will talk about the shirts and money. 100 shirts were ordered and Roland donated as well as Scott for a banner with all past names on it. Motion to approve $1000, by Karen second by Lynn to approve for t-shirts.
Roland spoke about the STR; Jeff Heathcock is offering red river campground for free to ABATE.
Two weekends a year if we want to have events. Jeff said we should bring it up at the December meeting to set a calendar. Possible do a rodeo there? We will discuss it more next month.
We have the swap-meet set up, have a flyer from Lisa. Send out every week!
Jeff wanted to talk about the Meeting of Minds. MRF from DC had a lot of good information! A lot of information was spoken about federally. Also, the electric vehicle tax for motorcycles vs cars is way out of line. MRF is aiming to reduce this for everyone. Profiling is still a thing as well.
Jeff mentioned the veteran ride for this weekend. Put on by CMVA.
Our guest Aleah Bartellet (our guest) talked about rides she has put together. Her aunt bragged on her mindset about this work! Glad to have them on board with ABATE! Robertson meeting first Tuesday
Mark motioned to adjourn Lynn second
Cya next month.
