Member/Friend Communication

One important key to a successful legislative effort is good, quick communication with anyone who is interested in what we are doing to make Tennessee a safer and better place to ride motorcycles.  We will be using a new way to communicate.  It's called a Yahoo Group and it combines the properties of an email list, a chat room, and a discussion group all into one.  It's up to you to determine how you would like to use it.  First, it's interactive.  You can post whatever comments or replies to previous comments to it that you would like.  To stay up with everyone's comments, you can set it up so that it immediately sends you each posting made as an email.  Alternatively, you can set up your account so that it sends you daily summaries of what's been posted.  You can program it to only send you special notices posted by the group moderator or you can simply monitor it and have nothing automatically sent to your email address.

In order to become a member of this list, go to  http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/CMTAbate_Legislative. It will ask you if you would like to join.  There's a simple procedure for you to follow.  You choose a user name and a password, and then fill in a profile of yourself.  The profile can be filled out with almost no data at all.  When your Yahoo user name and password have been approved, follow the instructions and ask to join.  Please tell me what charter you are with or something about your interest in motorcyclist's rights and I will approve your application to join the group.  I'm reserving the right to control who joins so that we can keep spammers out.  If you're having any trouble figuring it out or getting on, please email me at or call me at 615-469-2567.
