Our Bill HB1283 was heard on March 19, 2008 at that time it was rolled to behind the budget. The reason for this was that since it could potentially cost the state money they would not consider it until after the budget. While this is not a good place to be it is not dead either. We are working with our lead sponsor Curry Todd to address this issue and get it recalled for a vote before the session ends. It is essential that people call their representatives in the house and let them know you want this bill. We will do everthing we can to get a vote on it.

Looking to the future we need to become more politicaly active and get involved in races of those who oppose up by helping defeat them we help our cause. Keep the faith our day is coming all we need is true grit to fight until we win
