Rodeo Procedures

Rodeo Regulations:

Points: 1st place = 3 points, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 1 point Partners -1 Rider, 1 passenger, 1 time through with sign-up at the start of the event

Field Guidelines: Field Size: Lane(s) length - 50 feet, Width-12 feet Minimum of 3 lanes to eliminate bi-runs.

Rules: Draw for position (left to right) for each event and NO practicing on the field beforehand. The points go to the v/inners whether or not they are CMT/ABATE members. You do not have to be a member to enter the rodeo.

Primary Events: There are 4 that count for points. Slow Race, Weenie Bite, Ball & Cone and Barrel Roil. Ail others can be for fun and up to individual charters running rodeo.

Rules for the 4 Points Games:

Slow Race: NO FEET, Don't go over side lines, last one over finish line is the winner.

Weenie Bite: No feet down 5 feet before and 5 feet after. Height adjustment is fine as it is. Bun length hot dogs are the dog of choice. Weenie attachment - Many different ideas were brought up Chinese Finger Puzzles, toothpicks (forks are known to be dangerous to the biter's health). To settle this, it was decided that: What is Bitten Off is what counts, so if it pulls out, BITE IT!! (To qualify, that is!). Choice of condiments is at the rodeo hosts discretion.

Ball & Cone: 8 cones, center of cone 2 feet outside of boundary line. Tennis bails are fine. Use good cones. Host of State Rodeo to provide equipment. First cone on starting line. No feet!

Barrel Roll: Feet can be down, barrel only touches front tire, barrel type can be at host's discretion (plastic or metal), winner is the one v/ho crosses the line with their barrel first or furthest down the lane before the barrel rolls out of bounds.
