Brooklyn Tom states that with the passing of Mike Hayes, the
Legislative duties fall to him per the by laws of CMT/ABATE.
A Mike Hayes Fund with dollars to be deposited in discussion
on what to do with the funds. Carol Simpson suggested 'fans' for
Lobby Day or Legislative Day?
MOTION: Wendall wants a Mike Hayes Memorial Legislative Day
MOTION SECOND: Wally Biaz PASSED
All profits from sale of Mike Hayes patches go into Mike Hayes
fund.
Brooklyn Tom will be running for Director again.
MOTION:Wally Biaz wants sale price of Mike Hayes Patches at $5

Brooklyn Tom asked for some reimbursement for the flower spray
for Mike, he paid $250, a hat was passed around to reimburse him.
TREASURY REPORT: Dean Lucas states we have $7,000+ in the
bank.
Dean Lucas would like Article 5, Sec 4.B of 40% activities
monies sent to the state in 10 working days be changed.
MOTION: Move forward to vote strike out 40% in the bylaws
MOTION SECOND: Jeanna, to move forward and vote on this in
March, Discussion to have each charter submit dollars each month to
help budget the state.
OPPOSED AND VOTED DOWN
MOTION: Simple vote by each charter to institute pledge amount
to send to the state each month by each charter, strictly voluntary
amounts.
MOTION SECOND: roll taken, passed
CORPORATE REPORTS:
Please only send bank statements to the state office and close
the 800 phone number to the state office because it cost $240 per
year.
MOTION: Cancel the 800 number

NEWSPAPER/MEMBERSHIP:
Jeanna says December is out, wants to send papers to chapters
too
MOTION: To send out newspaper for 2 months Priority mail at
$25 per month

LEGISLATIVE:
Carol Simpson and Jack Jones meant with Curry Todd, District
95 Sponsor Helmet bill Committee, and Budget Sub committee. Carol
says everybody in every charter needs to step up. She routed around
2 plaques:
1.MRF-Defeating the "Kid Bill"
2.AMA 'Right away Bill"

Resumes for new positions with possible change in membership
duties with 2 yr term
Possibility of lowering percent for quorum, currently 60% or
3/5, will keep the same
2 Charters are inactive and do not count towards the quorum.
Dean Lucas needs to order new membership forms and asked for
any changes
