We had our June Board meeting for the first time at the American Legion. After the meeting we had a great steak dinner there and talked for several hours. We had to end by 4pm for another event however the commander of the post assured us that we will have the time we need from now on. We had a productive meeting and addressed several important issues. We are working on addressing the membership card issue so that new members get their cards and patches in a timely manner. The laptop for the Newspaper died so there will be no newspaper issue the month of June. Scott Fackler the new Director from Wheels of Thunder went to the office and helped to fix our computer. Welcome to John Decker the new Director of Dickson Humphries. we also elected Jerry AKA Ugly to the
Safety and Ed position.

The Right of Way Bill looks like it is going to pass. The bill making it a misdemeanor to do a wheelie also looks like it will pass. The no kid under 12 bill is dead. Our helmet modification bill has been bottled up in the budget committee and we are rolling it over till next year. It will start out in the budget committee. We need to mobilize the riders of Tennessee to contact their members on the budget committee to vote to let this bill out for a House floor vote.

We now have to roll up our sleeves and get to work.
