March will mark my first year as State Director.  In that time we have redone the By-Laws, got insurance for our events through AMA.  We elected several new people including our new Legislative officer.  When I came on board I found people going in many different directions. I believe after a year of struggle, 85% of the board is now on the same page. We agree that we are going to raise our profile with the State Legislature, the public and our Members. We are going to strongly push our Helmet Modification bill and our Right of way bills.  We are going to expect our members to do their part by contacting their House and Senate Representatives.

On the Financial side we are working on several different state events to bring in the funds we need to run our organization. These will be CMT/ABATE events that we have control over.

Finally, we will aggressively seek out new members. The infighting over the last three years since Steve Lundwall stepped down will be ended. We cannot expect members to join an organization that is at war with itself. If we really want member then we cannot have some in our organization publicly stirring up discord.  We are finally on the right track. What we now need is for each person to do their job. Though we are volunteers we stepped up and therefore are responsible to do the task assigned.

As STATE Director I will oversee each position to give aid and help where it is needed.
